01 — Who we are

A mining collective, run by engineers.

GTA Metals Mining Group is a collective of mining operations across South America. It is owned and run by highly experienced mining engineers — people who have spent their working lives getting material out of the ground and into specification, rather than trading it at a distance.

The group currently works copper, iron ore, manganese and lithium. Processing is handled at the operation wherever the material allows it — crushing, conveying, screening and sizing on the same ground the material came out of — so what leaves is already graded rather than shipped raw for someone else to sort.

Iron ore is the group's established line and carries the most detail; copper, manganese and lithium are supplied against enquiry. Grades, volumes and commercial terms are set operation by operation — each material's own page carries what is confirmed for it.

02 — What we produce

The line today, led by iron ore.

Iron ore is the group's established line, extracted and sized at the operation it comes from. Copper, manganese and lithium sit alongside it.

03 — Full portfolio

Every material. One collective.

Iron ore leads the line, in raw run-of-mine and granulated form. Copper, manganese and lithium are offered on enquiry, with specifications confirmed per operation.

04 — What we do

From the working face to sized product.

Across the collective, material is extracted and processed on the same ground, then graded and sized before it moves.

Extraction

Each operation works its own ground. Areas, extraction rates and grades are stated per operation and per material rather than averaged across the group.

Primary crushing

Run-of-mine material takes its first size reduction on site, straight off the pit, rather than being hauled away raw.

Secondary crushing

Secondary lines work alongside the primary, so throughput is not held up by a single crusher.

Conveying, screening & sizing

Inclined conveyors feed screen decks and sized product bins, taking crushed material through to a graded, sized product.

Supply to buyers

Material is supplied raw or graded, depending on the line and what the buyer needs. Sizing and volumes are confirmed against each enquiry.

Areas & partnerships

The collective takes on new ground and new partners where the engineering case holds up. See acquisitions →

The collective works its own ground. Material is crushed, screened and sized where it comes out, so what leaves is already to size and to grade rather than someone else's problem to sort.

05 — The process

How the collective works.

Every operation follows the same path from working face to graded product. The plant, the rates and the sizing differ by material — each one is set out on its own page.

Run-of-mine material

Material leaves the face as run-of-mine. Part of it is supplied raw; the rest goes forward to the crushing lines.

Crushing on site

Feed hoppers and crushing lines take the size reduction at the operation, rather than hauling raw material away to be processed elsewhere.

Screening & sizing

Inclined conveyors feed screen decks that split the crushed material into size fractions.

Graded product

Sized material drops into product bins, graded and ready to move under the terms agreed for each contract.
